The rules are to link to the person who has tagged you. Then write down six things that make you happy. Post the rules, tag six others and let them know you did it. Then tell the person when your entry is complete. Here are my answers:
1. My 2 cats, Jasmine and Purrcy. They follow me every where I go and are always underfoot.
2 Border's and Barnes and Noble bookstores. I love perusing the aisles and getting a cup of the hot drink of the month. Sometimes I read magazines that I can't afford to buy and put them back when I am finished.
3. Fabric stash. When I look at my stash of 151 yards in the linen closet, I feel creative and plan quilts that I will never have time to make.
4. Cable TV. My condo association made a contract with a cable company for 600 channels and I am hooked on TV. There is always an interesting ahow or movie on whenever I am in the mood to watch.
5. My collection of art prints. I love to change what is hanging on the walls both at home and in my cubicle at work. Currently, my cube is filled with Georgia O'Keefe posters. I have over 100 11 x 14 posters from famous artists that I have purchased from museums that I have visited over the years. I also have about 40 from unknown artists that I have purchased at art shows.
6. My home library. I love sitting near my library wall system in the morning with my coffee. I have approx. 1,700 books neatly organized by type. My largest group are cookbooks. I have 478 cookbooks and most are on baking. One shelf alone is just chocolate cookbooks. My most special edition is a treatise on cooking autographed by Duncan Hines himself. He was a food critic for a local Chicago newspaper. It's relaxing to sit with a book when you are surrounded by so many.

I liked reading this, learning a little bit more about you. My, my...you are a collector. I will DEFINATELY need to pop over to Chicago and, while I'm rummaging through your cheddars, I will peruse your book collection!! I gave my own collection up last year to make room for my larger studio and every so often, I come close to missing that mass of words!
After a few tag sessions, I decided not to participate in them because they quite a bit of time to set up w/ the links, etc. How about a quick list of 6 "things" that make me happy??

I wish my books were organised! They're spread over 4 rooms and really need organising and sorting. I've joined Library Thing to help with this - then I just need to get busy a get them tidy!
